Almost two weeks ago, I wound up getting a fantastic deal on an e-scooter. Since then I’ve been using it for as much of my errands and tasks around town as possible. The thing flies along at 32Km/h and supposedly has a 50Km range. It’s small and light enough that I can carry it up the stairs at work, or fit it in the back of my car. It has been a lot of fun to use, and it is a very cost effective way to get around town. The reason I mention it though is that it has been a great way to work on strengthening my cat stance. The riding position is a little different, but it still works the same set of muscles and requires a very similiar distribution of weight. To absorb the bumps and provide stability it forces me to lower my hips and my center of gravity. I’ve found it to be a fun and helpful little tool, if you get a chance you should try one someday. Maybe one day we can start a kung fu scooter gang!
