This past week we finished up working on the Lions for the New Years banquet, and I had a lot of fun working on them with the team. Though when I brought my in progress lion over for my nieces and nephews to try on, it became very apparent that the box I used was way too big for the kids who are going to be using these things.
I am also happy to report that I was able to spend some extra time working on my Tonfa form today, and I noticed a lot of my moves that had lost intent and definition. Today was a great opportunity to take some time and work on refining and improving my movements. I had a blast working with them today, though I did have to stop after I wound up wearing away some of the skin on thumbs where I was gripping the tonfa. Hopefully with some more practice, I will be able to build up some calluses and continue to refine my tonfa form.
I am also going to include the numbers below since my last post. I haven’t been as consistent as I would like, but I am still happy that the numbers are continuing to increase at least a bit between each post.
